Two MO House bills could impact breed-specific bans


MARYVILLE, Mo. - Two bills could impact dogs and cities in the Show-Me State. Missouri House Bills 2241 and 2244 would prohibit villages, towns, and cities from regulating dogs in a breed-specific manner.

Nodaway County Humane Society Shelter Manager Wendy Combs told KXCV/KRNW that breed specific bans are unfair.

Some cities with a breed-specific bans in the northwest Missouri region include: Chillicothe, Savannah, and Trenton.
